If you are using Windows 7, 8 or 10 64 bit version and get an error about MFC120u dll missing after installing MFC, download the drivers from mfcbox and install the x86 version of the Microsoft C++ Redistributable. The 64 bit x64 version gets installed by default on 64 bit systems but MFC won’t run without the 32 bit version installed.
That won’t stop the error message yet though. After installing both redistributables you need to make sure you put MFC dongle in boot mode (jumper pin P0 to GND) and plug it into the computer. That will install the proper libusb0.dll.
I hope that helps someone!
